No. We only buy alfalfa hay containing a minimum of 10% other grasses.

If my alfalfa hay is accepted and I have been paid half the selling price but feel the final weight isn’t correct, what do I do?
A.
All hay is stored at the plant by grower. If you dispute the weight, you can come and we will re-weigh it with you present. You will receive a weight receipt for each load we buy.
Q.
How soon after hay is inspected, test results are back and the hay is loaded and hauled away do I receive the other half of the payment?
A.
Final payments are always made within 21 days of the date the hay is picked up at the farm.

Do you buy alfalfa hay anywhere in the U.S.?
A.
Yes, but we only pickup hay with our trucks within a 250-mile radius of Rapid City, SD. However, exceptions can be made based on volume of hay available and location. Contact us if you are located outside the 250-mile radius. We will let you know if we want to look at your hay anyway.
